§ 6-46. Duration; renewal.

(a)

All licenses granted pursuant to this chapter shall expire on December 31 of the year in which the license shall be issued.

(b)

Licensees who desire to renew their license shall file an application with the requisite fee provided in the schedule of fees and charges with the city clerk's office, on the form provided for renewal of the license for the ensuing year. Applications for renewal must be filed before December 1 of each year, otherwise no renewal license shall be granted. An application for renewal shall be treated as an initial application, and the applicant shall be required to comply with all rules and regulations for the granting of licenses as if no previous license had been held. All licenses granted under this chapter shall be for the calendar year, and the full license fee must be paid for a license issued at any time during a license year.
